This module is responsible for distributing timing pulses across the motherboard bus, ensuring that all counters within the complex programmable logic devices are perfectly timed with an external reference.Designed for flexibility, the SPG-812 (OP/F) can be installed in any slot of the chassis, except for those designated for the digital/analog audio test set and power supply. When occupying the genlock slot #1, it acts as the master, dictating the timing pulses for the motherboard and synchronizing all slaved modules to it. Note that in this position, the SPG-812 (OP/F) relies solely on its internal time base or free run mode, as it cannot genlock to external video.In free run mode, the frequency of the VCXO is finely adjustable via a front panel control, ensuring that your test signals are always on point. Each output module supports both 525/60 (NTSC) and 625/50 (PAL) operations, with three outputs per module and individual infinite timing adjustments for unparalleled control.The SPG-812 (OP/F) also features a dual audio tone generator capable of producing Silent, 0dB, -10dB, and -20dB levels, adding another layer of testing capability.
