Each unit operates as an independent two-channel mixer, featuring a balanced mic level input through a 3-pin female XLR and a stereo auxiliary input via a 3.5mm TRS unbalanced jack, which is intelligently summed to mono. Separate level controls for each input allow for precise sound customization, providing ample gain to drive even the most powerful amplifiers to their full potential.To enhance audio clarity, the MIPAID includes a bass cut switch on the microphone input to minimize rumble and handling noise, ensuring your audio remains crisp and clear. The rear panel hosts additional line input screw terminals, facilitating the connection of multiple MIPAID plates in a daisy-chain configuration. This allows for the summing of inputs across three plates, with six level controls to manage the inputs, maintaining a maximum output drive level of +22dB.When utilizing multiple MIPAID plates simultaneously, it's crucial to monitor the total summed output level to prevent sum bus clipping.
