The connoisseurs pack contains award winning barrel aged stout and whisky We have a fantastic working relationship with White Peak which includes our yeast being used for distilling as well as numerous barrel swaps between us to enhance both our beer and their whisky. 1 x Wire Works Whisky Necessary Evil Finish ABV 51.3% 70cl bottle 2 x Necessary Evil, 13% ABV Single Malt English Whisky Barrel Aged Stout (375ml bottle) Whisky - Necessary Evil Finish is a vatting of lightly-peated single malt initially matured in Ex-bourbon casks and finished in our ‘Necessary Evil’ imperial stout oak casks. This years stout casks were originally used to mature Pedro Ximénez sherry (‘PX’). These previous uses impart additional magic on our single malt whisky, and the PX character adds additional layers of complexity. The casks are emptied of stout and filled with our whisky within 72 hours. Whisky Barrel Aged Stout - This limited edition version of Necessary Evil has been aged in White Peak English Whisky barrels for 8 months. Initial notes of chocolate, vanilla and orchard fruit from the barrel are gradually followed by the faintest hint of liquorice and peat on the finish to give an extraordinary iteration of our flagship imperial stout.
