With this new product, the Selvans line is enriched, offering a model enhanced by the extraordinary properties of S600 steel, ideal for facing any challenge in extreme environments. Selvans is a survival knife born from the collaboration between Extrema Ratio and Daniele Dal Canto, AIGS (Italian Association of Survival Guides) guide. Since its launch, Selvans has gained a lot of notoriety and has gained the appreciation of professionals and survival enthusiasts, thanks to its extraordinary versatility, robustness and reliability. The high content of molybdenum, tungsten and a good presence of vanadium in its chemical composition give the knife excellent qualities of hardness, wear resistance and toughness. The presence of cobalt promotes the formation of small, evenly distributed carbides, a characteristic that further improves wear resistance. Selvans S600 Black is hardened and cryogenically treated, reaching an exceptional hardness of 64 HRC, which gives it great wear resistance and the ability to keep the edge sharp for a long time. The Böhler S600 contains 4.5% chromium, making it a stainless steel. For this reason, Extrema Ratio has chosen the new EXP DARK coating for this knife. Selvans S600 Black comes with a black cordura thigh sheath, equipped with a MOLLE system that allows attachment to backpacks and tactical vests, ensuring practical and versatile transport.
