This pre-terminated SMPTE hybrid breakout cable is designed with 3K.93C connectors that lead out to a choice of duplex ST or LC optical connectors, sans power. It's an ideal fit for SMPTE rack panels, splice trays, adapters, and wall boxes.This breakout series is UPC machine polished to meet or surpass all SMPTE 304M/311M standards, ensuring high-quality performance. It's assembled with top-tier Belden super flexible U.S SMPTE standard studio broadcast cable, integrating a power line for TV cameras, control line, and optical fiber for video and audio transmission. The cable, standardized by SMPTE for HDTV Broadcast camera use, comprises two single-mode optical fibers, four 20 AWG, and two 24 AWG tinned copper conductors cabled around a steel strength element, with an overall tinned copper braid. This general-purpose cable is ideal for studios, patching, and light to medium field use. The cable's flexible PVC blend jacket enhances its usability within the studio. It's assembled with premium SMPTE Cable & Lemo and Senko Connectors, and the terminations are handled by LEMO trained technicians. The electrical assemblies are 100% tested for continuity and shorts, and the fiber optic assemblies are 100% tested for attenuation and back reflection. This ensures the cable's compliance with SMPTE 311M and 304M standards. The cable features stainless steel assemblies, rubber dust caps, and machine-polished fiber contacts. It supports a transport rate of 19.4 Mbps to 3 Gbps, and it offers low insertion and return loss. Please note that the Camplex SMPTE to ST is a passive breakout cable designed to eliminate the need for high-cost Hybrid Fiber cables and allow for straightforward integration using riser-rated duplex cables. Some Camera/CCU setups may require continuity between the copper conductors found within a SMPTE 304 connector to remain intact.
