The long version of all our safety cables is fitted with quick-connect links to make it easier to dip into the thimble. The safety rope must be attached in such a way that a maximum fall distance of 20cm is not exceeded. A safety rope that has been used once to arrest a fall or was under load must not be used again as a safety rope.
