The third generation of our pinnacle fly rod is the best yet. Tested from Maine to the Bahamas on fish of all kinds, it features a lightweight graphite blank with graphene resin technology that delivers power and accuracy while maintaining the ability to make delicate presentations. Rinse with freshwater after use in saltwater. Blank is 5-7% thinner in diameter than previous Apex rods, for a swing weight that feels much lower. Blank features graphene-impregnated resin that improves durability, increases the strength-to-weight ratio and enhances sensitivity. Includes fabric covered tube with interior dividers to separate sections. 7 to 9 weight rods feature cork synthetic tipped fighting butt, full-well flor-grade cork grip, aluminum skeletonized reel seat with carbon insert and Fuji striper guides with oversized snake guides. 4 to 6 weight rods feature half-well flor-grade cork grips with synthetic tipping for durability, aluminum skeletonized reel seat with burl wood spacer and Fuji stripper guides and snake guides.
