National Gallery Cobalt Textured Mug

Description
This mug is handcrafted in Leicester using Parian Porcelain, a specialised type of clay with a unique soft sheen that forms in the kiln. The patterned texture has been created using traditional plaster carving tools and echoes the rich pigments and brush strokes that can be seen throughout the National Gallery Collection.Watertight, dishwasher and microwave safe. Speckled GreyHand carved and colour centric ceramics, that feel silky smooth to hold. Batch made by ceramicist Elle Maxwell in her Leicester workshop.
