To Empty the Dirt Tank, follow these instructions: Remove dirt tank by pushing the dirt tank release button on top of the tank handle. Holding dirt tank over garbage bin, press release button on back. Snap bottom back into place and return to machine pushing to lock into place. To Clean the Dirt Tank, follow these instructions: Remove dirt tank by pushing the dirt tank release button on top of the tank handle. Open dirt tank lid by lifting the release latch. Remove primary separator by lifting out of the dirt tank. Container and separator can be washed with hand-warm water. Mild detergent may be used. Rinse well then air dry completely.
