If the need arises, it can also be worn over the top of a jersey for added insulation and windchill protection.The Teijin Octa Airmesh fabric on the front and back panels has an exceptional warmth-to-weight ratio – to offer maximum insulation with minimal bulk. For added protection from windchill and light spray, a Windproof Lightweight fabric with a PFC-free Durable Water Repellent (DWR) treatment is used on the front facing panels of the vest.To ensure a close-fitting cut that offers the best insulation, the ThermaCore bodywarmer uses fleece stretch panels on the sides of the vest to pull in the fabric and provide a form-fitting profile.
