AIM MyChron5 S 2T - the new, latest version of the game changing datalogger, precisely designed for kart racing has arrived.The GPS frequency has improved from 10 to 25 Hz and the precision accuracy has improved from about 5 feet to 2 (1.5 m to 45 cm in approximately).Redesigned Wi-Fi Module: a new firmware is under test for improving the baud rate. The data download will be 5 times faster.More powerful processor. 2 times faster than the current MyChron5 and with much more memory; a lot of firmware features are being developed.Different inertial platform: at 9 axes this will help in the development of many useful math channels.The AIM MyChron5 S 2T Dash Logger / Kart Lap Timer is a high-resolution graphical display with built in 25Hz GPS to sample, view and record kart engine parameters and lap data. The MyChron5S 2T unit is a multifunction system which logs and stores speed, lap times (including split and predictive), gear, temperature, rpm as well as data from the optional LCU-One Lambda Controller and MyChron Expansion module.The MyChron5 S 2T features 2 temperature sensor inputs, which can be used to measure the following water temperature, under spark plug cylinder head temperature (CHT) or exhaust gas temperature (EGT). The number of temperature inputs is the only difference between the MyChron5S and this MyChron5S 2T. The MyChron5 S 2T is supplied with ONE sensor: choose between an M5 or M10 water temperature sensor, an under plug CHT (cylinder head temperature) sensor or an exhaust gas temperature (EGT) sensor (standard M5 or M12 to suit KF Engine Type).The optional second temperature sensor is connected directly to the dash using the included dual / splitter patch lead of which there are 3 options: Black/Yellow - Features 1 x TC (Mignon) and 1 x  TR (719) plug. This allows both water temperature and EGT or CHT to be monitored. Black/Black - Features 2 x TR (719) plugs to allow for 2 x water temperatures to be monitored. Yellow/Yellow - Features 2 x TC (Mignon) plugs to allow for 2 x CHT or 2 x EGT or 1 x CHT and 1 x EGT. If any further sensors are required these can be added to the system using the AIM MyChron Expansion module.With 7 configurable display colours to choose from, enabling the driver to view clear, easy to read numerical read outs on track such as lap times and lap number, RPM in a configurable scale and 1 temperature value. Once back in the paddock you can scroll through all relevant data on the display: lap times, with best lap indication, max RPM and max temperature value.Developed to provide data acquisition solutions to the beginner, showing essential functional information, right through the spectrum to professional teams, who require detailed, tailored and specialised data.
