The Matrix competition seat from Sparco has been developed to comply with the latest FIA 8855-2021 approval, meaning it is super strong and safe, being able to withstand lateral impacts of up to 42g. The seat has a unique semi-translucent rear panel which allows the matrix technology to be seen. Impact absorbing foam is used around the headrest areas to reduce the risk of injury and non-slip fabric on the shoulders helps with upper body retention. A deep base coupled with high side bolsters provide excellent lateral support while keeping the occupants legs completely within the confines of the seat shell for increased lateral impact protection.The Sparco Matrix seat is compatible for use with all FHR (HANS) and hybrid devices and also with any harness configuration. It is ideal for most Motorsport disciplines including GT or rally cars which have restricted internal space. The seat must be used with the correct side mounts for FIA approval.
