Powerful WLAN Mesh Central
As a WLAN Mesh central unit, the FRITZ!Box 7590 AX ensures the best WLAN quality in the entire home network. In WLAN Mesh, distributed WLAN nodes (e.g. FRITZ!Box and several FRITZ!Repeaters) are combined into a single intelligent WLAN network. The FRITZ!Box 7590 AX forms the central unit (mesh master) and actively controls all other access points so that WLAN devices used in the home network are always logged on to the access point with the best connection. Mobile WLAN devices can easily switch between the access points automatically without interrupting a running application.

Versatile smarthome and convenient telephony
Smarthome devices such as the radiator controller FRITZ!DECT 301, the switchable sockets FRITZ!DECT 200/210, the push button FRITZ!DECT 440 and the LED lamp FRITZ!DECT 500 are controlled via the integrated DECT base. An analog telephone and up to six DECT cordless telephones (e.g. FRITZ!Fon) can be registered with the integrated telephone system. Smartphones also become fully-fledged VoIP phones via WLAN. Several integrated answering machines, local and online phone books, and numerous convenience functions round out the wide range of features.

Versatile multimedia functions
The FRITZ!Box 7590 AX also brings connected USB storage devices as well as online storage devices and content stored on them into the home network. Thanks to the integrated media server with NAS connection, stored movies, music and pictures are made available and can be distributed to playback devices via smartphone, for example. The FRITZ!Box 7590 AX thus forms a powerful platform for networked multimedia applications such as IPTV, video on demand, or 4K streaming.
