The abrasive properties of non-woven tools are adapted to different applications and provide an excellent solution for many metal working and finishing tasks. It is also suitable for processing other difficult-to-grind materials such as ceramics, glass and plastics. Non-woven abrasives consist of polyamide fibres, synthetic resins and abrasive grains. The very loose connection between the individual fibres results in a high level of flexibility and strong spring-type effect of the non-woven material. It is flexible and supple and leaves a very special surface structure. The semi-matt sanding result is unique and cannot be produced with other abrasives.
