Description

Bonds smooth fleece underlays for surface renovation as well as Styropor® ceiling tiles, ceiling tiles with Styropor® backing.

Properties:

• Ready for use
• Paste-like: particularly easy and quick to apply
• Very high adhesive strength
• Softener resistant
• Dilute with 5% water when applied by roller
• Highly flammable (building material class DIN 4102 B-1) when bonded to flame-retardant polystryrene rigid foam panels and solid mineral substrates
• Consumption: 500-600 g/m²
• Application with trowel or roller

• For bonding underlayments of smooth fleece
• For surface renovation (e.g. on painted glass fabric)
• Styropor® ceiling tiles
• Ceiling tiles with Styropor® backing
• Foamed polystyrene under-wallpaper
• Cork under-wallpapers

• The substrates must be clean, dry, smooth, load-bearing and evenly absorbent
• Apply Metylan Ovalit P with a notched trowel (B 1 or B 2) to a sufficient thickness
• When applying with a sprayer, dilute with approx. 5% water
• Application temperature: Do not apply below 10°C

• Be sure to allow sufficient drying time of about 24-48 hours before wallpapering on all subfloor wallpapers
• Metylan Ovalit P is not suitable for bonding under-wallpaper in damp rooms, e.g. bathrooms. In such cases, use Metylan Ovalit S
• Wash off adhesive residues from ceiling tiles immediately
