Our Elgin Vineyard Oak Wood Flooring measures 190mm wide, comes in fixed lengths of 1900mm and has a total thickness of 20mm with a 6mm solid hardtop wear layer. Each plank has a 4V Groove, bevelled edge which adds definition to the planks. This product is lightly brushed and finished with a lacquer. This lacquer provides an incredible layer of protection against spillages and stains and creates a beautiful golden finish. However, if damage does occur, don’t panic! Thanks to the incredible 6mm wear layer that this product boasts, you are able to it sand down and refinish it up to 5 times. That being said, it shouldn’t be necessary to do this during the first 15-20 years after its installation. In fact, we are so proud of the quality and the durability of this product that we offer a fantastic 25-year guarantee. This stunning flooring is rustic grade which means that the planks have more knots and imperfections in them. This adds plenty of character to the wood and is probably why this grade has become such a popular choice. The flooring can be installed using one of two methods; nailed or glued down.
