Material 4 Print PLA filament (polylactide) is a thermoplastic material. Polylactides are synthetic polymers and a type of polyester. PLA is biodegradable and therefore more environmentally friendly than ABS, for example, making it one of the most environmentally friendly filaments for 3D printing.

The uniform diameter and uniform colouring ensure clean printing results when purchasing our filaments. Thanks to its highly reliable print quality, PLA is a popular and frequently used thermoplastic. A heated base plate is not necessary with a constant extrusion mass.

In addition to their functionality, the PLA filaments have an excellent roundness and at the same time very low tolerances. These features make our filament the perfect material for all popular desktop 3D printers based on fused deposition modelling (FDM) technology.
