With the Silex DS-700 you can easily integrate USB devices into a network and share them over the network.
Printers, scanners, hard drives, dongles, card readers and other USB devices become network-enabled.
This allows the USB device to be placed anywhere on the network without a direct computer connection.
In addition, multiple users can access the USB device in succession.

Sharing devices from two different networks
Office devices used on one network can now be simultaneously connected to another network.
Both networks remain isolated.
This is made possible by the DS-700's ability to convert a USB device port on the device into a local network port.

High data bandwidth
The DS-700's USB 3 SuperSpeed port provides higher bandwidth over Gigabit Ethernet LAN than the traditional USB 2.0 device server. This ensures extra fast data transfer.

Support for ischronous transfer
USB devices such as webcams or speakers that use isochronous transmission can be added to the network.

Support for standard TCP/IP printing (LPR/RAW).
The DS-700 acts as a print server when a printer is connected.
The print server supports two common network printing protocols, RAW and LPR print modes.

SX Virtual Link
SX Virtual Link is software for network access to USB devices connected to the USB device server.
Using SX Virtual Link, you can connect or disconnect a remote USB device and request that another user share a device for their own use.

Simple configuration for quick installation
Configuring the DS-700 is quick and easy using the Device Server Setup utility, an integrated configuration web page, or AMC Manager®.
