The ULBC Rain Jacket is a lightweight, packable, and waterproof jacket, designed for the agile fly angler who values mobility. Made from our proprietary 2.5-layer Scale™ CORE high-quality ripstop nylon, that ensures you stay dry in any weather, while allowing moisture to escape during high activity. The eco-friendly PFAS-free DWR treatment on the surface adds an extra layer of protection. One of the standout features of this jacket is its compact design—it can be packed into its own chest pocket, making it easy to stow in your backpack or luggage. The fit is highly articulated for enhanced mobility, ensuring it won’t interfere with your casting stroke. The integrated, elasticated hood moves with your head, providing protection from rain, mosquitoes, and gnats. Elasticated sleeve ends and an adjustable bottom hem with a drawstring offer a snug fit, with the hem slightly extended to cover the seat area. The front features a splash-proof AquaGuard® zipper with an internal placket to keep water out, and a generously sized, zipped chest pocket for keeping your fly box or other essentials close at hand. The Hypalon docking station allows for easy attachment of accessories or pliers. On the right shoulder, there is a velcro fly patch for drying wet flies or adding custom patches. Additionally, a woven band at the back provides a hanger for your net.
