These 6x4 oak floating shelves are handmade from solid air-dried oak timber. Our 6x4 oak floating shelves are popular with customers who want to use them as a mantel, but like a mantel with a bit more shelf space to create a display. They come from cancelled orders - typically when a customer changes their mind about the finish colour or cancels after the mantel has already been made in our workshop. This mantel is in perfect condition, it is not a “second" or damaged. The only reason we’re selling them at a discount is that it is currently taking up space in our storage area of the workshop – storage that we need for other orders that we are busy making. You benefit from buying our handmade mantel that’s already made and ready to be dispatched, at a discounted price. And we get some much needed space back in our workshop!
