Thanks to the meticulously designed mortise and tenon joints, this bench is easy to assemble. This type of joint consists of two precisely crafted components – the tenon, which acts as a peg, and the mortise, which serves as the hole for the tenon to slot into. Often, for extra support, the pieces are then glued together during the assembly process.  How do you clean it? The fact is you don’t have to – it can be left outside without being adversely affected at all. However, for cosmetic purposes, choose a sunny day and simply use mild, soapy water to renew the lovely golden hue and make it look brand new.
