If you run your hands across the top you’ll notice that you cannot feel the joints or the edges of the various component pieces of teak they’re all slightly chamfered as well for an even smoother finish and lush feel. Mortice and Tenon joints are used throughout and these are then reinforced with teak dowels that are smoothed flat to the surface. There’s little ornate touches incorporated into the design that give the table further character and majesty. Then there’s the contrast of rounded and straight edges on the table top, the brass-coloured fixings that hold the sliding, leaf sections in place – it’s personal touches like this that set this table apart from the crowd.
