Ping S159 Satin Chrome Golf Wedge Introducing the PING S159 Wedges, the most versatile wedge line from PING Golf to date, with the addition of two new grinds and loft options. These advancements significantly enhance wedge performance and provide expanded fitting choices. Extensive testing with PING tour players has resulted in wedges designed to cater to golfers of all skill levels. Crafted from 8620 carbon steel, the head boasts an aesthetically pleasing shape with a more-square lead edge, offering notable benefits on full shots. An elastomer insert positioned behind the face contributes to a soft and responsive feel upon impact. Additionally, the compact head design features an improved hosel transition with constant offset, seamlessly integrating with the new Blueprint S and T irons at address. Wheel-cut grooves, precision-milled to varying dimensions based on loft, further enhance performance. Wedges ranging from 54 to 62 degrees boast tightly spaced MicroMax grooves, while those between 46 and 52 degrees feature a 20-degree sidewall, strategically milled to optimize groove volume for enhanced control on full shots.
