Attractive and functional shelters offer wind and rain protection to smokers The smoking ban now sends smokers outside to light up and has created the need for employers to provide a smoking area for staff that is sheltered from the weather and is generally out of sight of the front entrance to a factory or manufacturing plant. It is especially important to provide a designated smoking area if flammable chemicals are used in the factory. These smoking shelters provide a dry place for workers to smoke and it meets all of the current UK legislation. Our dome smoking shelters are supplied with a clear UV stable roof designed to help protect staff from harmful UV rays while the aluminium frame provides a strong and most importantly weatherproof structure. These smoking shelters are also fitted with 5mm thick clear PET glazing side panels this vandal resistant panelling allows smokers to see into and out of the shelter whilst also being protected from high winds. Each smoking shelter also includes a small frame mounted ashtray. The inclusion of more ashtrays or freestanding cigarette bins is recommended. No seating is supplied with these shelters as standard employers may prefer not to provide seating to encourage workers to have a fast cigarette break or they may choose to provide benches or perch seats.
