Traditionally beech has been the preferred material for workbenches the straight grain and high compression strength makes it ideal as it provides a smooth level surface which will absorb the impact of hammer blows. The BQ cantilever workbench with beech worktop is a strong unit that has been built to take up to 250kg providing the weight is evenly spread. The frame has been created from steel and finished in powder coated light grey the addition of adjustable feet means that it can be used where the floor is not even. The standard height for the unit is 840mm but 760mm and 920mm are also available if needed please call for details. The colour of optional drawers and cupboards are also the choice of the customer.
