The Montblanc Writing Instrument Patron Of Art Homage To Napoleon Bonaparte is dedicated to a figure in history whose life had a far-reach impact. Napoleon's heritage lives on in the great architecture parlance style of the famous Parsian structures built during his reign. Additionally to architecture other art such a paintings and sculptors blossomed under his leadership. The overall design of this limited edition fountain pen is inspired by the neoclassic style, with the blue lacquer taking inspiration from his blue uniform worn as a consul. The skeleton spiral pays homage to the original Colonne Vendome whilst the sword shaped clip bears the Napoleonic 'N'. The cap top is engraved with a laurel wreath, imperial crown and eagle which refer to Napoleon's coronation insignia. The cap is crowned by the Monblanc Emblem in Mother of Pearl whilst the clip end is decorated with a red Garnet to recall the coronation ring of Napoleon's wife Josephine.
