The stringent standards that he set then completely revolutionised the railway system and they continue to remain in all the timepieces today.   The Ball Trainmaster Eternity watch boasts an automatic calibre BALL RR1102 movement that can be watched hard at work through the open case back where the oscillating weight twirls with every movement of the wrist. Housed beneath the scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass with antireflective treatment is a classic black dial that contrasts beautifully to the glistening stainless steel 39.5mm case that surrounds it. Like most Ball watches, the dial is set with luminous micro gas tubes on the slim and sophisticated hour and minute hands for optimal readability in the dark. This luminosity will last for up to 25 years without requiring any recharge. The timepiece is completed by a striking brown crocodile leather strap and stainless steel folding clasp buckle for effortless wear and a luxurious finish.
